Program Committee has the right to reject without consideration the papers, which are not conforming to requirements described in this section.

GloSIC admits original scientific papers in Russian that present novel theoretical and/or experimental results in the conference scope and have not been previously published and are not being submitted to another conference or journal.

The International Program Committee will select papers according to their content, theoretical and practical contribution.

All accepted papers will be published electronically and indexed in Russian Science Index. The best papers will be published (after further revision) in the following journals:

Bulletin of the South Ural State University. Series: Computational Mathematics and Software Engineering (indexed in Russian Science Citation Index on the Web of Science platform),

Bulletin of the South Ural State University. Series: Computer Technologies, Automatic Control, Radio Electronics (indexed in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science),

Instruments (indexed in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science), and other journals indexed in the “White List” of RCSI.

Requirements for Scientific Content

Content of the paper should meet the following basic requirements:

  • topicality (the paper should consider some problem of state-of-the-art science and/or technology that is interesting to the scientific community);
  • scientific nature (the paper should consider scientific aspects of the problem, even if the task itself has a practical application);
  • originality (the paper should present novel results; the survey paper must be approved by the special decision of the Program Committee).

The paper must have a clear structure with the following sections that generally accepted for scientific publications:

  • introduction where the topicality and scientific significance of the study is claimed;
  • a brief review of the related works;
  • problem statement and theoretical part of the study;
  • the practical part of the study (the implementation of programs or prototypes of devices, case studies, experimental results, etc.);
  • conclusions.

The volume of the paper is 6-15 pages.

Papers may be prepared in LaTeX2e (MiKTeX package is recommended) or MS Word in accordance with GloSIC formatting rules (cf. author guidelines). Authors are recommended to use the following templates:

Submission of the papers

A paper should be submitted electronically in PDF format via EasyChair system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=glosic2023.

An author can participate in the submission of two manuscripts at most. The same group of authors can submit only one manuscript.

The Program Committee screens plagiarism and self-plagiarism in the submitted manuscripts through the special software (Anti-plagiarismiThenticate). The recommended minimum degree of originality of the manuscript is 70%. Manuscripts containing plagiarism in any form will be rejected without consideration.
